Life Insurance and Your Credit Score

It is common knowledge that your credit score affects your ability and conditions of renting or buying a home and taking out a loan, but with insurance, some policies would be more affected than others. Your credit score will be more important when it comes to car insurance and renters or homeowners insurance, but your life insurance policy is less likely to be related. Some life insurance companies will probably make a soft inquiry of your credit report, but there are other reports like your prescription drug history and your medical records that would play a bigger role in determining your rates.
