When and if you ever decide to place a freeze on your credit report, lifting the freeze off can be just as easy. When you place the freeze on your credit report, you will be given a special number/ pin. You will need this pin to lift the freeze. Without it, you’re going to be in a tough spot because you won’t be able to have your credit pulled for anything. So that new car? New mortgage? Or anything other thing you were going to use your credit for, you won’t be able to do so until you lift your credit freeze.
